HUGE shoutout to all the marketing geniuses that made these ads a reality!

Jacobs Coffee- I saw this gem in Greece

I don't even want to drink this coffee, I just want to smell it!

McDonald's Switzerland- 100% Swiss Wheat

Simple, yet effective! Sign me up for these Swiss buns!

Domino's Pizza- Barcelona, Spain

Marketing. Genius. Funny story though, this led us to actually get a pizza- four cheese pizza, unfortunately one of those cheeses was either blue cheese or gorgonzola, either way we hated it.

Exchange Victoria- Bran, Romania

Transylvania is a funny place. They definitely play on the history of vampires in the region. Exchange my money, but just don't suck my blood!

Coca Cola- Bucharest, Romania

Pour me a glass too, please!

Guinness- Dublin, Ireland

I saw this at the Guinness factory in Dublin. This explains a lot

I'm honestly not sure what was being advertised here, but this composition attracted me purely as a work of art.

PETA- Milan, Italy

Saw this piece of meat on the street in Milan. I think the idea was to get people to think twice about eating meat. I remain undeterred, but well done.

Amusement Cue, Nara- Japan

You had me at "Free WiFi" and really sealed the deal with "Pokemon"

Miyajima, Japan and Mont St Michel, France

I love these ads that I saw at Miyajima, comparing it to a different, yet reminiscent place halfway across the globe.

Golf Bar Cocktails- Bangkok, Thailand

Well, that's one way to draw in the younger crowd.

Nok Air- Thailand

These planes that are painted like birds are genius.

Muay Thai - Phuket, Thailand

These guys drive around in the evenings fighting on top of trucks to get people to attend the Muay Thai fights. I succumbed.

Waste Management- Singapore

Kudos to whoever decided to use the trash cans in the PSA campaign to keep Singapore litter-free

Air Asia- Malaysia

Now everyone can fly!

Pizza Hut- Cairo, Egypt

While not technically an ad, it qualifies for this list because this entire location basically IS a huge ad for Pizza Hut.

Naked Cow Girl NY- New York, USA

Technically, I think every photo taken with this girl is an ad for her. Naked Cow Girl NY makes the list because she's actually super smart. We probably wouldn't have approached her for a photo, but she approached us and SHE ASKED ME to start taking photos of her with my sister. I took a couple, and she insisted that I take more. "Turn your flash on," she said. "take a bunch!" It worked. Soon, people began to line up for photos with her. She used us to gather interest and make it known that she's available for a photo op. We got away free, but as I watched the others who had lined up; she charged them $5 each; and they paid it!

Octopus Cartoons- Tokyo, Japan

Train Water Bottle- Taiwan

The water for sale on the trains in Taiwan comes in a bottle that looks like a miniature train. It's purely a marketing gimmick- it's just plastic wrapped around a plain bottle. I wish it was actually printed ON the bottle; I would have kept it as a souvenir!

Get Your Butt in Here- Dublin, Ireland

YES, SIR! This is a clever way to promote this receptacle. From the looks of it, it's working!

Mug Shot Cafe- Kilkenny, Ireland

This makes the list because I think it's cute, and well thought out considering people will go in there and take their own mugshots, post them to social media and provide free advertisement for the cafe. Well done!
