Statue Crying Blood 30"x40" Acrylic on Canvas

This painting is a result of a couple things- a previously painted canvas that I found at a thrift shop, and a stencil I found online. There is a lot of texture coming through from the previous painting, and finding an image to suit that texure was a large part of the challenge of creating this painting. The canvas had minor previous damage, which was mended during the process.
